Not only are we honored to have received the TIP Company of Distinction Award, but we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity afforded to us by the program. The UCONN TIP truly supports growing small businesses in the state of CT. We were accepted into the program in 2011 with only 3 employees. We were provided affordable lab space out of UCONN’s Avery Point campus, which gave us a viable means to demonstrate our technical expertise and capabilities to the chemical process development community in which we are proud to serve. In May of 2012 we graduated from the TIP with 9 employees and moved into our 20,000 sq ft Centerbrook, CT facility which we now call home. By the end of Spring 2013 we will have 18 employees with diverse backgrounds in chemical process development and various support staff. Nalas plans to continue this positive growth and expansion of capabilities, continue to create jobs, and maintain a sustainable presence in the state of Connecticut. Thank you again to UCONN and the TIP!
